Library Policies: Distribution of Non-Library Publications

Distribution of Non-Library Materials

DISTRIBUTION OF NON-LIBRARY PUBLICATIONS

As part of its mission, the Library may provide access to community and social sector information through the distribution of non-Library, non-Forefront handouts and the public posting of non-Library, non-Forefront flyers, notices, and posters.  Such materials are limited to those of an educational nature consistent with Forefront's mission, vision, and values.

Materials from for-profit groups, companies, organizations, or individuals will not be accepted except to provide information regarding the visit of a published author if the event is free to the public and sponsored or hosted by Forefront.

Petitioning, solicitation, distributing literature or leaflets, canvassing, or making similar types of appeals by individuals are not allowed in the Library.
