Advanced Searching

EBSCO research interfaces allow users to conduct advanced searches using a Single Find field. The Single Find field offers ease of use to expert researchers who have developed more extensive search strategies.

Notes:

  • If you click the Business Book Summaries logo, you are returned to the Basic Search page with all your search terms cleared and any configured search parameters reset.
  • If you click the Advanced Search link, you are taken to the Advanced Search Screen with all your search terms cleared and any configured search parameters reset

ADVANCED SEARCHING

To use Advanced Search with Single Find Field:

  1. Click the Advanced Search link below the Find field.

  2. On the Advanced Search Screen, enter your search terms in the Find field.

  3. Select from the available Search Options:

    • Search modes – Use specific search modes, such as “Find all of my search terms,” or “SmartText Searching,” or use search options that expand your search such as “Apply related words.”

    • Limit your results – such as Publication Date or Subject.

  4. Click the Search button.

    A Result List of articles that match your search terms is displayed.

  5. Click on a title to view the article details screen or click on a full text link to read the full article.

    You can also choose to view results by subject under the Refine Results column on the left.
